Patch watch 2007
It being April 13 today, the mid-April Supreme Commander patch we were promised waaaay back in late March should be nearly on our doorsteps now. I harbor no expectations that our exclusive look at the v3229 patch notes will turn out to be accurate, but I do know two things: the patch should be coming out any day now, and it will include a map editor. Awesome. Anyone want to place any bets on which day the patch will arrive? I just spoke with a GPG employee and he said it’ll be released “when it’s done”, so hopefully it’ll be done by the Ides of April (which is coincidentally the day that historians mark as the date of Caesar’s first overdue credit card bill).

The die is cast.
My dice only goes up to 6, so I’m going to multiply that by 3 and guess the patch comes out on the 18th.

Yes, we really are getting an official map editor. That wasn’t a joke. That was the one plausible entry on the list. The bait, if you will.

Aparently Chris Taylor said something about the Cybran TML having it’s fireing speed made on-par with the other factions so that was plausable to. This makes me a sad panda.

A GPG employee said in GPGNet that the Cybran TML will have a firing delay like the other factions and one other thing that i dont remember…might have been the energy needed to make a missle (someone said it was 10x the other factions or soemthing)

Wow. So are they just getting rid of everything unique and interesting about the Cybrans, or have the game designers been using the “press a random button and see what happens” balance technique?
