Caps Lock != Shift
A critical distinction when laying out one’s initial build sequence, especially in preventing the loss of all stored energy before a single power generator has been built. That is all.

Heh. I never even thought of trying that, but I guess I should have. It might be a useful little feature for a little mod or something.

I like it when I try to pause units (Z) but hit the Windows key instead and get dumped to my desktop. ^___^

My favourite game-loosing mistake: Right-clicking somewhere on the map to deselect the current unit… of couse, after I gave it a long chain of commands.

In reply to Yhtill:
I can’t count the number of times I’ve done that. What is the best way to deselect something? I’m always hitting escape, only to bring up the game options screen, or right clicking only to have a group of engineers quit what they’re doing and wander off to get killed.
That is probably my biggest beef with SupCom; for me, the left-click vs. right-click command system isn’t intuitive, and I’m having a hard time grasping when to use what.
