Wherein I seize the reins of power
Wherein I seize the reins of power … or something like that. Okay, not quite.
I just became the new Editor in Chief of SupCom-Live. This position involves writing and managing all of SupCom-Live’s editorial and text content, including articles, columns, news stories, etc. Don’t worry though — I promise I won’t be spending any less time on SupComTalk. If anything, I now have incentive to write even more, which should benefit both sites, because I plan to be extremely liberal on the use of cross-posting.
We also have a column writing competition in the works for SupCom-Live to solicit entries from the community, and I will announce it formally on SupCom-Live once the plans are finalized.

…
I have to admit I didn’t even know what that was. It looks pretty cool, though.

This development is not the least bit surprising. Will your new position take away from actually playing the game, though? : )

I hope the salary is an improvement.

The salary is the same as my current salary for SupComTalk, so I’m making double pay!

supcom-live is a horrid looking site, blinky, dark and with poor contrast. seems to heavily focus on personality worship. i suggest a heavy dose of rm -rf /var/www

Ouch Zordon, that’s a bit harsh. As for personality worship, I suppose you’re talking about the interviews with top players, complete with real life pictures? I don’t know, I just don’t see much wrong with it. It’s interesting to hear the top players speaking in their own words. We don’t really do much of that here at SupComTalk, but I’m glad that someone does.

well taking another look….. really it doesn’t focus on anything…. their hasnt been an article written since march 19, and its a good week if there 2 pieces of news….. and wow, the eyestrain.
June 5th, 2007 at 12:58 am
Zordon: Yeah, this is why they brought me on board; they didn’t really have anyone focusing on the editorial content. Now their replays, forums, and videos, on the other hand, are better than SupComTalk’s.
