“Supreme Commander” is featured article on Wikipedia

As some of you may know, I’m an administrator on English Wikipedia, so it can’t have escaped my notice for too long that the article on Supreme Commander has become a featured article (and sue me if it took five weeks for me to notice). Featured articles are the absolute best that Wikipedia have to offer, with good writing, sourcing, depth of discussion, style, etc. There are only 1,500 featured articles as I write this, so having the article on our favorite game be amongst their number isn’t too shabby. So kudos to Krator, who more than anyone else helped get the article up to featured standards.

Feel bad about missing the boat on getting Supreme Commander to the status of featured article? You can still help out by improving the article on Total Annihilation, which hasn’t reached featured standards yet. The article on Gas Powered Games also needs a good bit of work.

IIRC…Supreme Commander is one of only 47 (out of tens of thousands) video game articles on Wikipedia that qualify as ‘featured’.

Wow. That’s impressive…I’m surprised I haven’t noticed that before, it must have slipped my mind. ;)

Of course, I’ve been checking the Forged Alliance wiki for information on an almost daily basis…

There’s a Forged Alliance wiki? Link please?

Anyway, the problem I find about screwing around with non-Wikipedia wikis (including even the one on this site, unfortunately) is that the ratio of time invested to reader benefit doesn’t even come remotely close to what it is on Wikipedia.
